Swedish apple pie

Just in time for Thanksgiving, here's this recipe for a quick, no-crust Swedish apple pie.

Thanksgiving is a day to appreciate everything we have. And, of course, a day to fill up on delicious, home-cooked meals with the family. Try out this recipe for a quick and easy version of apple pie:


  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 8-12 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • Cinammon
  • Cinammon sugar


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, egg and butter. Mix well until dough-like.

3. Spread apple slices in a large baking pan

4. Sprinkle cinammon over apple slices

5. Spread dough mixture over apple slices

6. Sprinkle cinammon sugar over dough and apples

7. Bake 45 minutes to an hour, watch for dough to be a golden brown
