Presented by the SU A Cappella Council, Cozy Cappella featured an hour of performances by Orange Appeal, Oy Cappella, the Mandarins, Groove Stand, Main Squeeze, and the Otto Tunes.

After a typically cold and snowy Syracuse day, students were treated to an evening of hot chocolate, desserts, and a cappella in honor of Syracuse University's annual Winter Carnival on Thursday night. Presented by the SU A Cappella Council.

Five Orange players scored double digits and forced 17 turnovers in the 81-63 win.

Eight days between games is the longest stretch that Syracuse has had this season. The Orange last played on Jan. 16, when they beat Pittsburgh 59-45 for their second ACC win of the season. This allowed the young team time to practice without interruption.

What they did in the last eight days paid off, as Syracuse ran away from Boston College, winning 81-63 against their ACC foes.

Frank Howard led Syracuse with 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists and five steals.

Syracuse men's basketball grabbed a much needed ACC win on Tuesday, pulling away from the Pittsburgh Panthers to win 59-45.

The Orange (13-5, 2-4 ACC) were riding a four-game losing streak, having lost four days ago in a double overtime game against Florida State. After making his opening three point shot, junior guard Frank Howard took control of the team.

Despite scoring with no time remaining in the second half, Syracuse lost 3-2.

Syracuse lost 3-2 against North Carolina in field hockey at J.S. Coyne Field on Sept. 23. Despite trailing for the entire game, Syracuse forced two goals in the last eighteen minutes through Elaine Carey and Lies Lagerweij. Lagerweij's goal came as time expired. Here is our gallery from the game.

Down two goals in the second half, men's soccer's effort to battle back come up short.

Syracuse men’s soccer team welcomed Duke to SU Soccer Stadium trying to snap a two-game home losing streak on Sept. 22. However, a 2-1 defeat to the Blue Devils saw the Orange (3-2-2, 0-1-2 ACC) fall to the away team.

Beginning in the first half, Syracuse came out hungry to win after losing the last two matches against Louisville and Cornell. Coach Ian McIntyre says it had been a tough couple of games.

Despite scoring first, Syracuse were limited to five shots the entire game.

Syracuse men’s soccer team lost its ACC home opener to an assured Louisville team at SU Soccer Stadium.

The Orange opened the scoring in the 11th minute. Hugo Delhommelle put a corner in from the left and found defender John-Austin Ricks at the near post. Ricks put the header across the keeper into the far corner.

One of the highlights of every Syracuse University football game is the baton girl taking center field to perform, but who is the baton twirler? Meghan Sinisi, a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences is Syracuse University’s Orange Girl

“A lot of people call it baton girl, but it’s Orange Girl,” Sinisi said.

Crunching the numbers of the different Syracuse University meal plans reveals high prices, less food

A carton of eggs from a Tops supermarket range from 99 cents to $3. A bagel only costs up to $1. And a pound of bacon goes for $3.50.

Compared to those prices, Syracuse University overcharges for its meals—no matter how you slice it. Breakfast -– the cheapest meal of the day –- costs $8.50.

Despite cheap meals offered at stores and restaurants around campus, SU Food Services charges students significantly more money to eat at an on-campus dining hall.

The easy-to-imitate viral video trend hits SU with some hilarious results.

Hula skirts, a sombrero, and fuzzy blue and orange batons added to the bizarre atmosphere that infiltrated Watson Theatre Thursday morning during Professor Anthony Rotolo’s Social Media in the Enterprise class (affectionately known as #RotoloClass). A strange, blue-haired stuffed giant lounged up front and Otto the Orange hopped excitedly on top of a chair. A girl with a tutu and a masked gentleman sitting in a wheelchair, shirtless under his lab coat, waited eagerly in front of the professor, who was donning a wizard’s hat and robes....

In the "Battle of the Midway," the Orange basketball team, driven by C.J. Fair and Brandon Triche, stifled the the Aztecs in the first game of the season.

It wasn't asthetically pleasing, but the Orange will gladly take the 62-49 win over San Diego State on Sunday afternoon. After being moved from Friday afternoon due to inclement weather, playing on the USS Midway was an experience that all the players and coaches cherished. Here are three of my thoughts on the outcome of the game:
