University Union will host its annual Mayfest event on April 24, 2015 in Walnut Park from 1-6 p.m.

University Union announced this year’s line up for Mayfest, which will feature electro-pop duo The Knocks as headliners with rapper Skizzy Mars as direct support, and pop artist VÉRITÉ as the opener.

The "Piano Man" will perform his seventh concert at Syracuse's Carrier Dome Friday, March 20 at 8:00 p.m.

This is an age where artists struggle to stay relevant and the audiences’ attention can fade as fast as a breakout artists’  hit single drops on the Billboard charts.  But some artists that have been around since the '70s can still draw large crowds to venues like the Carrier Dome and Madison Square Garden.  Billy Joel is one of those artists.  What is the difference between him and today’s infamous 'one hit wonders?'

Orange Music Group, or OMG, held their Winter Artist Showcase, bringing together talented, diverse Syracuse singers.

Picture the sounds of smooth R&B, up-beat rap, and an acappella rendition of Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love" all in one night. 

As Zoya Davis stepped on the stage at Schine Underground, she took full pride in telling the audience that the two singers who performed before her were her very talented friends.

The freshman music industry major took her seat beside the guitarist, inhaled deeply, and sung a cover of Adele’s “Don’t You Remember” in front of an audience of 100 people.

University Union announced today the concert will take place on March 4th at 8pm in Syracuse University's Schine Underground.

University Union's Bandersnatch concert series is known for bringing big names like Cash Cash and Trippy Turtle to Syracuse University and this semester will be no different.

Beating out artists like Iggy Azalea, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, and Ed Sheeran, the 22-year-old English singer took home 4 Grammys including Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. Smith also hit the stage to give a bone-chilling performance of "Stay with Me" with none other than Mary J. Blige.

Review: R&B singer Teyana Taylor tops a bill of dance, music and comedy at 'SNL: the Showcase'

Although Saturday night was filled with a variety of different entertainers, the spotlight was on R&B singer Teyana Taylor. Known best for her appearance on MTV's "My Super Sweet 16", Taylor took the audience on a roller coaster ride of emotions from the minute she stepped onto the stage until the very last note she sang.

A study conducted by a software application writer charted college students' SAT scores over their top 'liked' musical artists on Facebook.

Though you may think it easy to spot a Jack Johnson fan via his flip-flops or a Sublime listener via her penchant for Rastafarian colors, one researcher has shown that all you need to do is look at SAT scores. That's his plan, anyway.
