Marlei Martinez: London

My name is Marlei Martinez, and I’m your NewsHouse blogger from across the pond, a.k.a. London, England. First things first, here’s a bit about me:

I’m currently interning at the ABC News Bureau here in London and loving it. I’m 20-years-old, and I love acting, reporting, eating, and the outdoors (this last passion has been a recent development).

I’ve been living in London for exactly 37 days now, and yet its feels like I’ve been here a lifetime. Somehow I’ve visited most of London’s hot spots (i.e. the Tower Bridge, London Eye, Big Ben, Trafalgar’s Square, Buckingham Palace, Harrods, etc.), eaten my way through the city’s most coveted markets (i.e. Borough Market, Portobello Market, Brick Lane Market, etc.), danced the night away in my fair share of chic nightclubs and hip pubs and squeezed in a week of outdoor adventures in Scotland all within these 37 days.

But don’t worry netizens, there are many more adventures to be had here in London; so come along for the ride as I continue this journey from across the pond.
