Coleman Hell set to headline Bandersnatch Music Series

University Union announced indie-electronic artist Coleman Hell, along with Syracuse's own Pizza Party, will perform March 9.

Coleman Hell will bring his dance popster vibes to the Schine Underground at University Union's first Bandersnatch Music Series show of the semester March 9. Special guest and Syracuse native Pizza Party is set to open.

Coleman Hell, a Canadian producer, singer and songwriter topped the charts in early 2015 with his genre-bending, banjo inclusive hit “2 Heads.” His self-titled Columbia Records EP dropped in October 2015, shortly after his rise to fame. Following the drop, Hell toured with electro-alt artist Robert DeLong and will begin touring throughout 2016 with Twenty One Pilots.

Syracuse-based band Pizza Party brings an energetic rock sound to juxtapose Hell's pop style. Comprised of four Bandier Program juniors, Pizza Party aims to drop its first EP later this year.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 4 for $5 with SU/ESF IDs at the Schine Box Office. Doors open at 7:30 p.m Wednesday, March 9, 2016.
