Freshman Street leads balanced attack with two goals during exhibition game.

Syracuse women's soccer trotted onto the pitch Saturday for an exhibition match against Binghamton without star sophomore Stephanie Skilton, who is currently playing in the FIFA U-20 World Cup for New Zealand.

But even with Skilton's absence, SU had no trouble finding the back of the net.

Nine different Orange players recorded a point, and freshman Sheridan Street led the way with two goals as Syracuse opened the season with a 5-3 win over the Bearcats at SU Soccer Stadium.

The Syracuse men's soccer team fails to find a rhythm on offense, falling to Binghamton at home, 2-1.

In a defensive grudge match that didn’t feature a goal until well into the second half, Binghamton (4-5-0, 0-0-0) defeated the Syracuse men’s soccer team (2-6-0, 0-0-0) Tuesday, 2-1. SU’s offense did not tally a score until the 89th minute when senior Dan Summers scored the first goal of his Syracuse career.

“Nothing was quite clicking tonight,” Summers said.
