Syracuse University ranked No. 10 of top 20 party schools

SU has again made The Princeton Review's list based on student survey about alcohol, study habits and Greek system.

For the second year in a row, Syracuse University has kept its place among The Princeton Review’s top 20 party schools list, and it has even moved up a couple notches from last year’s 12th place. This year, Syracuse is No. 10.

Student hit by car on campus

An ambulance took a male student to the hospital after a car hit him on Waverly Ave. and S. Crouse Ave.

It smelled like burning rubber and beer. It sounded like a tire screech. The street looked wet and something had shattered a few feet from the curb of Waverly Ave. and S. Crouse. 

Around 4 p.m., a male student was hit by a car while crossing the street. He was responsive after the accident and sat on the curb while medics spoke to him and put a neck brace on him. The student's identity is unknown at this time.

The struggle to find an authentic experience in Tangiers

Morocco has been at the top of my list of places to visit while abroad from the beginning. Its proximity to Spain, 340 miles, and the enchantment of going to a country with camels, potent spices, and ocean views made it a must see spot for me. All of this, coupled with the fact that I’d heard stories from my Mom who spent six years in Egypt in her 20s, had me raring to visit northern Africa.
