World-renowned DJ Carnage dazzles Westcott Theater concert-goers with "I Like Tuh," "November Skies" and remix of Adele's "Hello."

DJ Carnage put on a great show Thursday night at the Westcott Theater. His stop in Syracuse was part of the "Papi Gordo Tour," which began following the release of his EP at the end of last October.

The musician took time to explain the inspiration behind his music and his life's journey.

Singer-songwriter Trevor Hall made his way up to Central New York this weekend for a stop along his “A Night in the Village” Tour, to showcase new music and reminisce on some old memories that inspire his work.

Held in Homer, New York, it was the ninth show on Hall’s 13-stop tour around the eastern United States. The event was put on by Homer’s Center for the Arts in their 400-seat theater.

The Spring Spectacular included 19 performances in a range of different styles including hip-hop and contemporary dance.

Syracuse University DanceWorks put on the first of two showings of its 2018 Spring Spectacular showcase in Goldstein Auditorium Friday night.

The performance featured two acts and 19 separate numbers in a range of styles including hip-hop, tap, lyrical and contemporary dance. Founded in 1986, DanceWorks is a fully student-run organization at SU that puts on two showcases throughout the year, among other community performances.

Three EDM artists brought a 'euphoric vibe' to Westcott Theater's last show of the month.

It’s midterm time for students here in Syracuse, New York, and everyone’s stress levels are inevitably higher than necessary.

“What’s the best way to relax and jump-start the flow of those creative juices?” one may ask. Well obviously the right answer is … a concert on a Wednesday night!

Presented by the SU A Cappella Council, Cozy Cappella featured an hour of performances by Orange Appeal, Oy Cappella, the Mandarins, Groove Stand, Main Squeeze, and the Otto Tunes.

After a typically cold and snowy Syracuse day, students were treated to an evening of hot chocolate, desserts, and a cappella in honor of Syracuse University's annual Winter Carnival on Thursday night. Presented by the SU A Cappella Council.

The concert was part of ‘Cuse for Good: Social Justice, an event that aimed to bring social justice discussions to campus.

At 23 years old, Joey Bada$$ performed Saturday night at Syracuse University with a swagger and skills beyond his years. From the moment he stepped on stage he created an energy with the crowd in Goldstein Auditorium that lasted throughout the entire performance.

Subtronics, Dirt Monkey and headliner Ganja White Night made for the 'perfect vibe' on Feb. 13 at Westcott Theater.

The Westcott Theater presented the city of Syracuse with another night of heavy bass and hard dubstep. Budding dubstep gurus Ganja White Night rolled through on their Origins Tour with the support from two very talented DJs and producers, Dirt Monkey and Subtronics.

Slate and Nancherla used their comedic charm to talk about female sexuality and politics at Goldstein Auditorium Feb. 9.

Although it was a snowy Friday night, hundreds of students were drawn to the Goldstein Auditorium at the Schine Student Center to watch Aparna Nancherla and headliner Jenny Slate perform standup. The show started at 8:00 p.m., but crowds filed into the room as early as 7:00 p.m. to get a good seat and view of the comedians. Throughout the night, it is safe to say that tears were shed and stomachs were sore from intense laughter.

Despite the heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures that burdened the city of Syracuse last night, EDM fans did not hold out. The Westcott Theater blessed this snowy city with a highly anticipated lineup of four insanely talented artists: Wooli, Riot Ten, Space Jesus, and headliner Datsik. The venue was truly packed, with a large crowd forming as soon as doors opened at 8:00 pm, and even more fans piling in as the night went on.

WERW started the spring semester with sounds of Syracuse University favorites Feb. 8.

WERW’s Spring Launch Party jet streamed the largest student-run radio station into a fresh and new semester. The kick-off took place in the Schine Underground Center from 8-10 p.m. and showcased three top-notch acts: campus favorite Charlie Burg, Varsity, and long time friend Vundabar. General Manager Allison Carr was feeling bittersweet describing her role in setting up WERW’s launch party; this would be her last one.
