University Union lines up 'Workaholics' co-creator and star for stand-up show.

While it seems that Adam DeVine is all over TV and film lately, he soon will be at Syracuse University, too.

University Union announced Sunday night that the co-creator, writer, and star of the hit Comedy Central show Workaholics will perform at Goldstein Auditorium on Feb. 24.

Students, Syracuse community rally in response to Ferguson indictment

Protesters began their march from Hendricks Chapel to Marshall Street at the time that Michael Brown was shot on Aug. 9.

On Monday, Dec. 1, Syracuse University’s Quad was silent. More than 100 students, faculty and Syracuse community members filled the area in front of Hendricks Chapel, using their silence to honor the memory of Michael Brown. They remained hushed for 4.5 minutes in remembrance of the 4.5 hours that the unarmed teen was left lying dead in the street after Officer Darren Wilson shot and killed him on Aug. 9. In response to news that Wilson would not be indicted for the incident, they joined a nationwide event that used silence to shout that black lives like Brown’s matter.

Protesters covered the fence around Crouse-Hinds Hall with signs identifying loved ones who have died due to a lack of support.

THE General Body stepped out on the 12th day of their sit-in, staging a silent protest took place outside Chancellor Kent Syverud’s house at 12:30 p.m. and a rally and subsequent vigil at 2 p.m.

Reporter discusses international reporting experiences

Working in a variety of countries, writer and reporter Alexis Okeowo dealt with cultural differences by listening to locals and observing their behavior.

“I find that just being a very good listener is useful,” Okeowo said. “Just listening, even when you are interviewing people.”
