Owen Gotimer

Owen is a contributor to The NewsHouse.

A senior Broadcast and Digital Journalism major in Newhouse, Owen hails from Leesburg, Virginia, about 45 minutes northwest of the nation's capital.

Owen has an extensive communications background having worked for the Discovery Channel, the Syracuse Chiefs, VivaLoudoun.com and others. 

At Syracuse, Owen managed the varsity women’s softball team, competed on the Orange’s NCAA Division I cheerleading team and currently co-hosts The Real OC radio show on WERW.

In 2014, Owen started his own hyperlocal, high school sports website in Loudoun County, Va. called LoCoSports.
