Comedian/actor Adam DeVine to perform Feb. 24 at Goldstein

University Union lines up 'Workaholics' co-creator and star for stand-up show.

While it seems that Adam DeVine is all over TV and film lately, he soon will be at Syracuse University, too.

University Union announced Sunday night that the co-creator, writer, and star of the hit Comedy Central show Workaholics will perform at Goldstein Auditorium on Feb. 24.

DeVine's television work also include Comedy Central’s Adam DeVine’s House Party, which recently wrapped its second season, as well as in his scene-stealing reoccurring guest star role as the nanny in ABC’s Modern Family.

As a comedian, his sketch-comedy group, Mail Order Comedy, has headlined sold-out comedy shows all over the nation. DeVine acts, writes and produces all of Mail Order Comedy’s material, including Workaholics.

As for his film career, DeVine is known for his starring role in the hit a capella comedy Pitch Perfect and recently wrapped production on the upcoming Pitch Perfect 2 sequel, where he will return as Bumper Allen, leader of the all-male campus singing champions.

Tickets for 'A Night with Adam DeVine' will go on sale at the Schine Box Office this Thursday, Jan. 29, for $5. Tickets will be available to all Syracuse and SUNY-ESF students, staff and faculty. A valid college, staff or faculty I.D. is required to purchase tickets to the event, as well as to gain entry to the venue. Doors for the event will open at 7:15 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m..
