Review: R&B singer Teyana Taylor tops a bill of dance, music and comedy at 'SNL: the Showcase'
Although Saturday night was filled with a variety of different entertainers, the spotlight was on R&B singer Teyana Taylor. The student organization made another 10 p.m. announcement via Twitter, adding Vanessa Bayer and Kate McKinnon of 'Saturday Night Live' to their already impressive lineup of fall events.
University Union isn't all about the music.
At 10 p.m., the student group made an annoucement via Twitter saying two female comedians of Saturday Night Live fame will be at SU in October.
"LIVE FROM NEW YORK (Syracuse, NY...) IT'S THE #GIRLSOFSNL! Join Vanessa Bayer & Kate McKinnon on 10.16 for non-stop laughs in Goldtein Aud." Comedy Central's Nick Vatterott will open the show, which starts at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m.
The SNL star will visit Goldstein Auditorium for "An Evening of Comedy" on Wednesday March 27.
Comedian Seth Meyers will perform in Schine Student Center's Goldstein Auditorium March 27, campus programming board University Union announced Sunday via Twitter.

What a mensch!
So University Union and Hillel had a stroke of genius to ask the Saturday Night Live comedian to come to Syracuse University Wednesday night.
Most college students revere the man linked to SNL’s often hilarious Digital Shorts that have celebrities such as Justin Timberlake, Natalie Portman and Rihanna in unimaginable situations.
