The 'Broad City' and 'Eric André Show' star will headline University Union's first comedy show of the semester.

Comedian Hannibal Buress has been showing up in some of comedy’s biggest TV shows during the past few years, and his next stop is Syracuse University.

University Union announced “An Evening with Hannibal Buress,” a comedy performance scheduled for 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, at Goldstein Auditorium.

The longtime 'Saturday Night Live' cast member will do stand-up Sept. 25 at Goldstein Auditorium.

Saturday Night Live fans rejoice! University Union & the Syracuse University Parents Office will bring comedian Kenan Thompson to campus later this month for Family Weekend.

 "An Evening with SNL's Kenan Thompson' will be in Goldstein Auditorium on Friday, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m. This will be University Union's first performing arts show of the semester.

Review: R&B singer Teyana Taylor tops a bill of dance, music and comedy at 'SNL: the Showcase'

Although Saturday night was filled with a variety of different entertainers, the spotlight was on R&B singer Teyana Taylor. Known best for her appearance on MTV's "My Super Sweet 16", Taylor took the audience on a roller coaster ride of emotions from the minute she stepped onto the stage until the very last note she sang.

The student organization made another 10 p.m. announcement via Twitter, adding Vanessa Bayer and Kate McKinnon of 'Saturday Night Live' to their already impressive lineup of fall events.

University Union isn't all about the music.

At 10 p.m., the student group made an annoucement via Twitter saying two female comedians of Saturday Night Live fame will be at SU in October.

"LIVE FROM NEW YORK (Syracuse, NY...) IT'S THE #GIRLSOFSNL! Join Vanessa Bayer & Kate McKinnon on 10.16 for non-stop laughs in Goldtein Aud." Comedy Central's Nick Vatterott will open the show, which starts at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m.

The SNL head writer and comedian performed his own material, as well as some SNL favorites, in Goldstein Auditorium on Wednesday night.

A sold-out Goldstein Auditorium welcomed Saturday Night Live head writer Seth Meyers with uproarious applause on Wednesday night.

The laughs started immediately when he “mistakenly” greeted the crowd as Indiana University, Syracuse’s latest basketball rivalry in Sweet 16 round of the NCAA tournament. Meyers then gave shout-outs to each class, spending extra time with the juniors, calling them “the dicks of every college campus.” Although he successfully insulted a portion of the audience, he was off to a great start.

So University Union and Hillel had a stroke of genius to ask the Saturday Night Live comedian to come to Syracuse University Wednesday night.

Most college students revere the man linked to SNL’s often hilarious Digital Shorts that have celebrities such as Justin Timberlake, Natalie Portman and Rihanna in unimaginable situations.
