Review: EDM group Krewella performed at the F Shed on Tuesday, fighting against the venue's bad acoustics and playing mostly hits to a crowd of casual fans.

Krewella raved to a sold-out crowd at the F Shed on Tuesday despite having a different crowd than normal for an EDM show.

EDM superstars Krewella will perform on Oct. 29 at the F Shed as part of their Get Wet Tour.

For electronic music fans, especially those who prefer trance and dubstep, September was a very good month. Avicii’s album, True, dropped Sept. 13, followed by the deluxe edition of Clarity by Zedd on Sept. 24. But despite Zedd’s popularity, his special edition release was eclipsed by the release of Krewella’s first full-length album, Get Wet.

Jeremy Salken from Big Gigantic took some time to talk with The NewsHouse about the duo's live show, upcoming album and help with Colorado flood relief.

Since Dominic Lalli and Jeremy Salken joined musical forces to create Big Gigantic in 2008, they have established a reputation of high energy live performances that differ from many other electronic acts. The duo frequently combines more well-known electronic elements like laptop effects with Lalli’s saxophone and Salken’s drums. Their unique style has gained them an enthusiastic following across the United States and around the world. They are currently on tour before the release of their next studio album, due out sometime in early 2014.

Review: The multimedia artist struggled to find the balance between concert and lecture Saturday at his Goldstein Auditorium performance for the CRAVE Arts Festival.

Spooky, stick to your party playlist and keep the lectures for class.

Fingers were drumming and heads were bobbing, but the lengthy explanations from Paul Miller, known by most as DJ Spooky, That Subliminal Kid, left listeners fidgeting, wishing they had heard more of his art and a lot less talk.

There are no complaints about the music; in fact it is clear why the Metropolitan Museum of Art selected him for its Artist in Residence program. There is reason for his eccentric method in creating music, and he made that clear on Saturday at Goldstein Auditorium.

Review: The debut album by Trent Reznor's collaborative project 'How To Destroy Angels' is a flag planted in his new creative path.

As accomplished and groundbreaking as Trent Reznor has been while presiding over his industrial day-job Nine Inch Nails, there’s a startling irony to the fact that his most riveting work in recent years has been created while working completely outside that box.
