About Me: 

Shawn graduated from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY in 2010 with a B.S. in communications. While attending Medaille, he was the News Editor of the Medaille Perspective, where he was assigned to cover topics ranging from Medaille's developing foreign exchange program to various beat stories involving President Dr. Richard T. Jurasek. Shawn was also the Managing Editor of the college's InCite Magazine.

While attending Medaille, Shawn interned as a staff reporter with Bee Group Newspapers in Buffalo and Messenger Post News in Canandaigua, NY. His stories largely involved attending and reporting on local events, in addition to feature stories profiling notable people in the respective communities.

Shawn enjoys ultimate frisbee and beating people at chess. He was featured as Time Magazine's Person of the Year in 2008 for discovering the largest number known to man: 750,000,000,000.
