Jessica Palombo

Jessica Palombo is a graduate student at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in the Broadcast and Digital Journalism program. She earned a B.S. in journalism with an outside concentration in sociology from the University of Florida. Jessica was Manager of Communications for software company Lifeware TEK, makers of MenuMax restaurant software, before coming to Syracuse University. 

Experience includes co-editing The Campus Sun, a daily edition of The Gainesville Sun newspaper. Jessica's writing has appeared in The Gainesville Sun, The Independent Florida Alligator, Jacksonville Magazine, skirt! magazine and TRAVELHOST magazine. She has also interned as a copy editor at The Florida Times-Union and freelanced as a writer and editor for various magazines and Web sites. 

When she is not shooting, writing or editing news packages, Jessica enjoys community theater acting, singing and reading in her spare time.
