Madina Toure came to Newhouse in July 2012 as a graduate student in the magazine, newspaper, and online journalism program. She interns in the opinion section at The Post-Standard and previously worked in the entertainment section. She previously worked as a continuous news producer for The NewsHouse via the Newspaper Editing course taught by Emilie Davis.
Prior to Newhouse, Madina attended Barnard College in New York City, where she majored in political science and French and Francophone Studies. She worked as a beat chief and deputy news editor for the Columbia Daily Spectator, and also had internships in public relations, politics, and publishing.
