Alexandra Spychalsky

Alexandra Spychalsky is a senior at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She is a dual major in magazine journalism and Spanish language, literature & culture. Locally, she has written for the Student Voice, Medley Magazine, Democracywise, and CNY Latino, Central New York's only bilingual newspaper.

Past media experience includes writing news updates for Radio Cadena Val, a radio station in Ecuador; reporting and photographing community events for CityLife News in Wellington, New Zealand; and interning in NBC's research department at the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Alexandra enjoys sports, traveling, skiing, tutoring, cooking, and anything outdoors. She hopes to one day become an international reporter with a news magazine or newswire.
