Timothy R. Olsen

Timothy R. Olsen was a graduate student at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in the Magazine, Newspaper and Online Journalism program. He graduated with his Master of Arts in July 2011. 

He earned his bachelor of science at Utah State University, where he served as the sports editor for The Utah Statesman, a student-operated paper at USU. While there, he was the beat writer for the football team, as well as the men's basketball team. He also worked for The Herald Journal in Logan, Utah, as a sports writer covering local college and high school sporting events from 2007-2010. 

Since gradutating from the Newhouse School, Tim has started his own online sports magazine, CacheSportsMedia.com, which covers high school and collegiate sports in Northern Utah.
