Mary Desmond

Mary Desmond is a senior at Syracuse University; this spring she will receive her degree in newspaper journalism and international relations. 

 While finishing school, she is currently working as a section editor for the women’s travel website lostgirlsworld.com. 

 Previously, Mary worked in London for the Liberal Democrat News, a weekly newspaper covering politics in the UK. Last year she worked as a contributing writer for The Stand, a community newspaper that covers Syracuse's South Side.   This summer she interned with citypath.com, a new website covering New York City.    

In her free time Mary loves to travel and read, preferably at the same time.
