About Me: 

Kathryn is a senior, Broadcast and Digital Journalism major at Syracuse University. From Kentucky, she is an aspiring television reporter and has a wide range of experience, interning for NBC affiliate WSAZ in Huntington, WV and CBS affiliate WKYT in Lexington, KY.  Most recently, she worked as a digital intern for NBC News in New York. Kathryn was able to cover a wide range of top U.S. and world news stories, including the U.S. Supreme Court's historic ruling on gay marriage, the NFL's first female coach and Misty Copeland's promotion as the American Ballet Theatre's first black principal dancer.  

Kathryn is heavily involved in many student organizations on Syracuse's campus. She serves as a campus tour guide, an abroad ambassador, anchors for CitrusTV News, is a member of Order of Omega, DanceWorks and holds leadership roles in Delta Gamma Fraternity. She loves to travel! Kathryn studied abroad in Madrid, Spain for four months.
