Jessica Cunnington

Jessica is a senior Broadcast Journalism major at Syracuse University from Yorktown Heights, New York. Ever since transferring to SU in fall 2009, she hasn't stopped. Jessica has been involved with CitrusTV, Student Association, Student Philanthropy Council, Newhouse Peer Advising Program, Newhouse Mirror Awards, DanceWorks and even singing the National Anthem for basketball games. 

Jessica has had internships with NY1 News, YNN-Syracuse and most recently with Fox News for On the Record with Greta VanSusteren where she cut lots of video, teases and SOT's and pitched future guest ideas and small stories. At Fox News she also was able to pitch her own stories then go out, shoot, edit and write packages. Her one package that will be posted on the Fox News Internship website can be seen on her YouTube Channel. Packages from CitrusTV and other Newhouse classes are posted there as well. 

Jessica will graduate this May and will start her reporting career. She hopes to be a general assignment reporter in different cities across the US and knows she will make it back to New York in time.
