Beth Croughan

Beth Croughan graduated in May 2009 with degrees in broadcast journalism and political science major. She is originally from Mahopac, New York. Beth has interned at WSYR News Channel Nine in Syracuse, ABC News in New York City, News 12 in Norwalk, Connecticut and WRNN in Rye Brook, New York. Perhaps one of her most rewarding journalistic opportunities was covering the New Hampshire presidential primary for Syracuse University's Democracywise. This is a web venture which hosts stories for Professor Charlotte Grimes' political reporting classes. She reported every day of primary week for 95.9 WATD, a radio station in Marshfield, Massachusetts and Democracywise. She also won second place, nationally, in a William Randolph Hearst competition for radio hard news.
