Andrew Johnson

Andrew is the founder of Film Geek Radio, an online network of digital audio programming related to film and television criticism. He hosts "Cinema Fix," a show devoted to discussion and analysis of mainstream blockbuster films, and "Let's Get Reel," on which he interviews independent filmmakers about their work. He has contributed written film criticism and arts features to a variety of publications, including Stone Canoe, Syracuse New Times, CaryCitizen, and GordonAndTheWhale.com. He occasionally blogs at The Kuleshov Effect.

Andrew has also interned under Oscar-winning director Barbara Trent, shot and edited dozens of video projects, programmed events for an independent cinema, and even worked as a door-to-door salesman. He has spent extensive time in Latin America and China. In his spare time he can usually be found at the movies, curled up with a book, or pondering the mysteries of the universe over a good cup of coffee.
