Alex Ptachick

Alex Ptachick is a junior at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, majoring in newspaper and online journalism. Alex is a Continuous News Producer to The NewsHouse.

Additionally, Alex is an intern at The Post-Standard in the breaking news department, covering breaking news in Syracuse and the surrounding areas. She also interns with ESPN Radio, working on the Syracuse Legends (@SyracuseLegends) and Inside High School Sports (@ESPNIHSS) shows. 

After college, Alex hopes to become a sports writer and or editor at a major newspaper.
