Syracuse women's soccer dominated both Cornell and Fairfield in two games, winning 3-0. Kate Donovan scored a brace and Taylor Bennett slotted one home from the penalty spot against the Big Red.

The men's soccer team got out to an early start against Northwestern, scoring three goals in eighteen minutes. Adnan Bakalovic, Jonathan Hagman and Tajon Buchanan each scored to win its first game at home this season.

The United States men's soccer team suffered a shock defeat to Costa Rica. This was its second loss at home during the Hex, and now face an uphill battle qualify.
