Students gathered in Goldstein Auditorium Saturday night for Greek Freak, headlined by GoldLink. The show also featured Shy Glizzy, now known as Jefe, and Kranium.
The show was originally supposed to take place in September, with Meek Mill as the headliner. First, it was pushed back to November, and then Meek Mill was replaced as the headliner.
Meek Mill was replaced because of his parole status, which kept him from leaving the state of Pennsylvania to perform in Syracuse. The National Panhellenic Conference of Syracuse sent a letter to the judge explaining the benefits of the concert, but Meek Mill's request to leave the state was still denied.
The NPHC quickly booked a new headlining act, and the show continued in spite of Meek Mill's absence with a trio of artists.
Greek Freak is designed to bring in money for the fraternities and sororities on campus. Check out photos from the concert.
