Considered by some "a citizen writer," Terry Tempest Williams is known for her environmental works that take an ethical stance toward life. A naturalist and free speech advocate, Williams has strived to portray environmental issues as social issues that fall into society's realm for justice. Her scheduled talk is entitled, "The Writer As Witness."
