International Women's Day [8] celebrates the accomplishments and struggles women had to go through in history to give women today what they have. This year's theme is Pledge for Parity.
I was inspired to do this project because as a Polish American, my mother, who is an immigrant, is a living example of overcoming struggle and hardships to create a better life.
