- Many campus acts have performances coming up in the next week. It starts tomorrow with the Northbound Traveling Minstrel Jug Band [12] and their performance at the Red House opening for Hoots & Hellmouth [13]. Sarongs [14] then takes the stage with other local acts [15] at the Lost Horizon on Saturday. Finally, Devon James [16] and Chemicals of Creation [17] keep the party going next weekend with a performance at the Spark Art Gallery [18] on Friday, March 4.
- The Diplo [19] show sold out in barely two days [20] so University Union decided to open up an additional 400 tickets [21] for the balcony (on-sale today at 11 a.m.). UU also announced that the openers for the event would be rapper Rye Rye [22] and indie rock act The Postelles [23].
- Finally, UU released a survey last week asking students for feedback about speakers and comedians [24]. While we're all still waiting for the results (and booking) from the last Block Party survey [25], I've got one musical act [26] to suggest as a write-in [27] on this one.
