The women's soccer team beat University of Pittsburgh 2-0 on Thursday night. First-half goals by Sydney Brackett and Alana O'Neill gave the team its first ACC win of the season. However, they lost 2-0 at Notre Dame on Sunday off two second-half goals.
The men's soccer team lost both their home games this week; a 1-0 to the Akron Zips [7] and a 2-1 defeat to ACC rival NC State [8]. Coach Ian McIntyre and the team are still searching for its first ACC win of the season.
The U.S. men's national team defeated Panama 4-0 in its penultimate match of World Cup Qualification.
