SU grad Josh Keefe biked across the country, recruiting potential law students along the way.

One night at the end of the summer, 2014 graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law and the Maxwell School Josh Keefe had the rare experience of camping out underneath an airplane touch-and-go landing. Keefe was camping out near an airstrip in a small town that he didn’t think would get much air traffic late at night.

SU takes to the field for its second straight home game Saturday against Colgate.

During a broadcast last weekend, Syracuse alum and ESPN broadcaster Sean McDonough shared something that should be music to the ears of Syracuse football fans. While talking to Washington head coach Steve Sarkisian, McDonough said that the offensive guru was impressed with the Orange after their visit to out west. Sarkisian said SU should be playing in a bowl game this year.

The 2010 NCAA East Regional semifinals took place in the Carrier Dome Thursday night, schools from border state Kentucky and West Virginia advancing to Saturday’s final.

DeMarcus Cousins will not be provoked, not on the basketball court.

A big strong 19-year old playing at the East Regional of the NCAA Tournament, the Kentucky freshman center had his intelligence questioned, his back strained, and his patience tested over the last 24 hours.

Emotions came to a boil with 9 minutes remaining in the first half of a offensively challenged semifinal between the Wildcats and fan favorite Cornell. Cousins snared the rebound of teammates DeAndre Liggins wayward 3-pointer, and knocked to the floor by Cornell center Jeff Foote.
