The New York City medical examiner will conduct further tests to determine Sabrina Cammock's cause of death as the autopsy came back inconclusive.

New York City's Chief Medical Examiner does not yet know the cause of SU student-athlete and senior Sabrina Marsha-Gaye Cammock's death.

Cammock, 21, was found dead in her hotel room at the Hotel Edison in Times Square on Saturday around 9:20 a.m. She and friends had returned to the room March 6 after a night out during their spring break. Cammock didn't wake up the following morning.

In the two day meet in New York City, the men's and women's track and field team finished sixth and ninth, respectively.

This weekend the Syracuse University men’s and women’s track and field team wrapped up its indoor season with the Big East Championships at the New Balance Track and Field Center at the Armory in New York City. The meet was a two-day event beginning on Feb. 16.

Senior SU distance runner Griff Graves is waiting for his chance to return to the track.

Everybody who runs does so with a purpose.  For some, that purpose may be to get in or stay in shape. For some, it may be for the ultimate enjoyment of playing another sport. But for others, it may be for the enjoyment of the run itself.  For many, there may be multiple purposes.

For Griff Graves, a senior distance runner on the track and field team, that purpose is singular: “Winning,” Graves said.  And no, Griff Graves is not a pseudonym for Charlie Sheen.

Orange struggles with intense competition in Auburn, Texas and Chapel Hill, N.C.

The Syracuse track and field team headed south this weekend for the Auburn War Eagle Invite in Auburn, Texas and the Kent Taylor-Joe Hilton Carolina Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C. Unfortunately, only a few SU competitors came out with strong performances, as the majority of the team struggled against intense competition.

Syracuse track and field enjoyed some fun in the sun this weekend at the Princeton Sam Howell Invitational. The Orange had a good showing in what was most of the team's first outdoor event of the season.

The SU track and field teams participated in the Princeton Sam Howell Invitational this past weekend. For many members of the Orange squad, the Princeton Invite marked the first outdoor competition in the 2011 season.
