Many of today's college students likely first experienced 3-D at a young age – whether it was at a movie theater with flimsy paper glasses or even a realistic 3-D attraction at a theme park like Disney World. Years later, 3-D technology is among the most talked about emerging technologies. And for students at Syracuse University, it is readily available on campus.

Between Otto and Dome campers sledding down Crouse College and panels at the S.I. Newhouse School, ESPN's College GameDay left its mark on campus the day before the big game.

Although tip-off wasn't for another 30 hours, the hype leading up to the first ever ACC match-up between Syracuse and Duke made its way throughout campus when ESPN's College GameDay came to town.

Otto the Orange has been ranked one of the worst and one of the best mascots in the country.

Not many mascots can go from being fifth worst in the nation to the nation’s best college mascot in the span of a year. Then again, Otto the Orange isn’t just any mascot.

The pride and joy of the Syracuse University campus isn’t a spartan, tiger, or knight. 

It’s an orange — a lovable, huggable, silly orange.
