Review: The founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan rolled out the classics at Westcott Theatre on Friday.

“Keep it loud as f-ck. At least let me get some feedback.”

GZA’s duel over the iron mic with the inept sound engineer was a reoccurring theme throughout the night. The lack of response from the sound booth, though, was compensated with an electric human feedback comprised of a circuitry of hands forming the renowned Wu-symbol, hammering heads and feet pulsating to the rhythms of the hits of the night: Duel of The Iron Mic, 4th Chamber, Protect Ya Neck, and Reunited.

Review: With openers Io Echo, indie rockers Jukebox the Ghost closed this semester's Bandersnatch shows on Tuesday.

University Union hosted indie rockers Jukebox the Ghost and Io Echo in the Schine Underground on Tuesday night for this semester's final show in the Bandersnatch Music series.

Despite a late start and a smaller crowd than other Bandersnatch shows have attracted, the show was an incredible experience for those who were a part of it.

Before Jukebox The Ghost took the stage, the crowd was warmed up by the grungier sound of IO Echo.

The Setnor School of Music welcomed percussionist and Wilco drummer Glenn Kotche Thursday night as part of their guest artist series.

The multi-talented percussionist will collaborate with the Percussion Ensemble at the Setnor School of Music on Thursday March 7.

Glenn Kotche has worked on over 90 albums over the course of his career, yet he feels like he’s just scratched the surface of what there is to do as a percussionist.

The MTV "Jersey Shore" star, supported by Chicago rapper Rockie Fresh, played a DJ set in Goldstein Auditorium Thursday night.

Rockie Fresh and MTV star DJ Pauly D’s dance party distracted students from the snowfall outside Thursday night at Goldstein Auditorium in Schine Student Center.

The event, sponsored by student programming board University Union, began an hour and 15 minutes behind schedule, as Rockie Fresh faced inclement weather on his way to Syracuse.

The first eager group of students in line were friends Molly Quinn, a music industry senior; April Woltersdorf, a music education junior; and Hannah Smith, an illustration...

The world's biggest DJ showcased his skills at the OnCenter on Tuesday night, supported by fellows DJs Quintino and DJ Tommy Trash.

The line wrapped around the building and stretched down Montgomery Street Tuesday evening outside the OnCenter. Inside, the convention center began to fill with a crowd dressed in neon colors, wacky hats, colorful beads and plastic sunglasses.

The Club Life College Invasion tour headlined by DJ Tiësto had arrived, bringing with it over four hours of vibrating electronic house music, strobe lights and pyrotechnics.

Review: Irish up-and-comers Two Door Cinema Club played Schine Underground last night, but could be playing major venues within the year.

Two Door Cinema Club aren’t a household name, but they could be – and soon. This up-and-coming Irish trio have already amassed a considerable following across the ocean and could very well become the next big indie-pop outfit to hit the States.

Review: The iconic DJ’s Schine Underground show proved he’s bound to do for house music what Mozart did for classical.

Steve Aoki played a venue that was appropriately packed to a crowd that was appropriately rowdy. It was University Union’s second sold-out show of the semester, yet there didn’t seem to be any overarching buzz for the event on campus.

It begs the question, how many people know who Steve Aoki is?

Review: M.I.A. proved that politics and dance parties don't mix well at Sunday's Cornell show.

Say what you will of M.I.A.’s taste in French fries, child-rearing practices or Sri Lankan political parties – the pop provocateur keeps a crowd entertained.

“If they think I’m f------ bad, I’m gonna be f------ bad,” she spouts, inexplicably, from the stage of Cornell University’s Barton Hall. “And my bad’s not just putting out some f------ s--- hit or something.”

Review: Sleigh Bells and LCD Soundsystem made a riotous impression in Clinton on Friday night.

There are a few ways for concertgoers to evaluate a set. Did the audience hear all the radio singles it wanted? Did the band throw in some fan favorites and rarities? Or did the band play a mixture of its whole discography in an order that allowed for the momentous highs while never bottoming out so low that the crowd stands still?

Whichever your answer, LCD Soundsystem has perfected a set list so epic, so powerful and so emotional, that the audience is never allowed to come down from its musical high.
