LadyFest Syracuse provided a safe space for the celebration of music and art on Saturday night with profits going toward Vera House.

 

This Saturday, while Paul McCartney played in the Carrier Dome, an all-inclusive music-based feminist festival, LadyFest, held its fourth annual social gathering to champion “women, POC, and the LGBTQIA+ community.”

The food and drink tasting event drew large crowds to the Museum of Science and Technology even during the SU Final Four game against Michigan.

If you weren't watching the Syracuse-Michigan basketball game and needed something else to do on Saturday night besides spill beer on your orange Final Four T-shirt or shout “Go Cuse!” at a bar's TV, "Tap into the MOST" at the Museum of Science and Technology was definitely the best way to spend your night.

Syracuse's annual winter festival is underway with ice skating and drink mix-offs, and the fun will continue until Feb. 24.

The 27th Annual Syracuse Winterfest is bringing members of the Onondaga County community together once again this year. The idea, which was dreamed up by Bill Cooper and volunteers 27 years ago, has now attracted over thousands of people over the years, giving them a taste of what the cities, businesses and people of upstate New York have to offer during the chilly winter months.
