With a number one ranking on the line, Syracuse gets its eighth straight win behind a career performance from Chris Daniello and a strong effort from a stingy defense.

After a thrilling last second win against CNY rival Cornell University on Tuesday night, the Syracuse Men’s Lacrosse Team (10-1, 3-0) looked to stay on track as they got into the meat of the Big East schedule against Rutgers University (5-6, 1-2) on Sunday night at Yurcak Field in Piscataway, N.J.

Fifth-ranked Cincinnati forced two Syracuse turnovers in the red zone Saturday afternoon, piling up 422 yards of offense on the way to a 28-7 win.

High-powered Cincinnati made more plays than Syracuse on Saturday, resulting in another Big East victory for the Bearcats (8-0, 4-0 Big East).  The Orange fall to 3-5 overall and remain winless in the Big East (0-3).

Review: Hip-hop artist and Duke senior stages an energy-packed party to celebrate his new album release.

Early Wednesday night, 21-year-old musician and Duke University student Mike Posner strolled leisurely into the Schine Underground. Scheduled to perform two hours later and still appearing tired from his flight, Posner sat down to relax after a routine sound check.

“Today’s a really special day because my new CD just came out,” Posner said. “It leaked a day early, so I’ll be singing several songs from that CD I’ve never sung before.”
