DanceWorks paid homage to the '80s during "We Got the Beat," their 29th annual performance.

Lights embraced the stage, music started to play and with each dancer’s movement the smell of their hairspray filled the auditorium.

This year’s DanceWorks performance was met with thunderous applause and cheers between each dance and once again at curtain call.

The room is filled with twirling bodies, sweat-drenched faces and occasional laughter after missing the beat.

The energetic atmosphere of the evening salsa class at Syracuse Pulse Fitness Studio, 713 W. Fayette St., makes it easy to forget the freezing temperatures outside. The snowy weather apparently didn’t prevent people from coming to the weekly lesson.

The easy-to-imitate viral video trend hits SU with some hilarious results.

Hula skirts, a sombrero, and fuzzy blue and orange batons added to the bizarre atmosphere that infiltrated Watson Theatre Thursday morning during Professor Anthony Rotolo’s Social Media in the Enterprise class (affectionately known as #RotoloClass). A girl with a tutu and a masked gentleman sitting in a wheelchair, shirtless under his lab coat, waited eagerly in front of the professor, who was donning a wizard’s hat and robes....
