The Orange buckled down in the closing minutes of each period in order to prevail against a relentless Army side to remain unbeaten.

Following their statement victory against Albany last weekend, Syracuse (3-0) started off this contest rather sloppy. After falling behind 1-3 in the 1st period, mainly because of the team’s four turnovers, attack Dylan Donahue scored a much needed goal with 25 seconds remaining to swing momentum back Cuse’s way.

The Morehouse College professor shared his thoughts on social justice movements with those in attendance in the Carrier Dome Sunday during Syracuse University’s 31st annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration.

“You can’t talk about Martin King and not talk about acting — acting bravely,” Hill said. “The biggest problem in the world today is that there are too many people that don’t do anything.”

Canada beat the Iroquois National team 12-8 to win gold. They've never lost a game in the tournament's history.

Indoor lacrosse is serious business. It's played on a turf field that's just about the same size as a hockey rink, and there are the same amount of players playing per team as the ice sport, just subtract the skates and add sticks with netting. The pace of play is much different though. Hockey is sort of half transitional and half setting up with the puck on your opponents side. Indoor lacrosse is almost entirely stationary. Teams with possession can simply jog over to the other side and get into formation.
