The Orange extended their home win streak to 34 with their seventh shutout of the season.

At a rain-drenched J.S. Coyne Stadium, the top-ranked Syracuse field hockey team improved their record to 11-0 with yet another shut out on Sunday.

Gillian Pinder and Liz McInerney led the Orange over Yale University (3-6) 5-0.

Despite an underwhelming performance by the Orange, they found a way to extend their home winning streak to 33 games.

Saturday afternoon the top-ranked Syracuse field hockey team extended their home winning streak to 33 games as they shutout Louisville 3-0.

SU holds off late Seton Hall charge to win its Big East opener.

The Orange, now 7-2 on the season, defeated the Seton Hall Pirates in their Big East opener tonight by a score of 1-0. Freshman midfielder Jordan Vale was able to get on the opposite end of a corner kick in the 26th minute to beat the Pirate goaltender for the only goal of the night.

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced a Sunday morning teleconference in what many believe will be the official acceptance of Syracuse and Pittsburgh into the conference.

Absolutely stunning. This time yesterday, Syracuse and Pittsburgh were full-fledged members of the Big East Conference. Now? That's debatable. 

Pete Thamel first reported around midnight Friday the two schools were in talks with the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The New York Times reports the two Big East schools have talked about leaving for the ACC.

Syracuse became one of the seven founding members of the Big East Conference in 1979. Three years later, the University of Pittsburgh joined to become the ninth team in the conference. Both schools, though, are currently in talks with the Atlantic Coast Conference, Pete Thamel of the New York Times reports.

Rakeem Christmas, Michael Carter-Williams, and Trevor Cooney have committed to the Syracuse men's basketball team. All three players were ranked in ESPNU's Top 100 prospects, and each will help the Orange in different ways.

In today’s world of college basketball, half the battle is recruiting. Coaches can win games, but players win championships. Coaches spend their summer days in hot, sweaty gyms, looking to find the best talent across the country for that simple reason.

Recruiting is vital in building a program and sustaining its success. This year’s Syracuse University three-man recruiting class though, could not only sustain the always prestigious program, but hopefully, elevate it to a new status.

The Syracuse track and field team traveled to Cornell for the second straight week in a final tuneup for the upcoming Big East Championships. Senior Kwaku Boah had a good day in the field events for the Orange.

For the second straight weekend, the Syracuse University track and field team competed at Cornell University. Similarly, for the second straight weekend, senior thrower Kwaku Boah torched the competition.

Boah competed in his signature events – the hammer throw and shot put – placing in the top five in each. In the hammer throw, Boah took home the title with a toss of 53.73 meters. As for shot put, Boah placed third with a throw of 14.52 meters.

Career-high 8 points for Tee Ladouceur lead Syracuse before match up against Georgetown

The No. 18 Syracuse University women’s lacrosse team (10-7, 7-1 Big East) clinched at least a share of the Big East regular season title after a 20-6 victory over the Villanova Wildcats (5-11, 1-7 Big East) at Villanova, Pa. Tee Ladouceur led the way for the Orange offense with a career-high 8 points.
