Tomaselli keeping Fine investigation alive

Despite recent reports indicating that Zach Tomaselli was requesting the end of the Bernie Fine investigation on his behalf, statements released today suggest otherwise.

Contrary to yesterday's reports, Zach Tomaselli, the third accuser in the Bernie Fine controversy, has stated via email that he was "misunderstood" in that report by the Syracuse Post-Standard.

Jim Boeheim, the iconic head coach of the Syracuse University men's basketball, is not worried about losing his job amid the investigation of former associate head coach Bernie Fine.

After former Syracuse University men’s basketball associate head coach Bernie Fine was fired Sunday in light of a third victim accusing him of sexual molestation, head coach Jim Boeheim seemed to be the next person who was likely to lose his job.

The allegations surrounding Bernie Fine, former associate head coach of the Syracuse University men's basketball program, broke rapidly while the campus was vacant because of Thanksgiving vacation. While the team continues to push on without Fine, even adding Gerry McNamara to the coaching staff, take a look at how these tumultuous 12 days unfolded. 

1963-1967: While attending Syracuse as a personal and industrial relations major, Fine also student-manages the basketball team. It is here he meets current head coach Jim Boeheim for the first time.

Long-time assistant coach for the Syracuse men’s basketball program Bernie Fine is under a police investigation for claims of molesting a former ball boy for the team.

Syracuse University men’s basketball assistant coach Bernie Fine is the subject of a police investigation relating to allegations that he molested Bobby Davis, former ball boy for SU, ESPN reports.
