The No. 18 Syracuse women's lacrosse team held off a late rally from No. 7 Loyola in Baltimore, to upset the Greyhounds, 10-9, and stretch their longest winning streak of the season to four games.

The No. 18 Syracuse University women’s lacrosse team upset the No. 7 Loyola (Md.) Greyhounds Friday, 10-9, in Baltimore. The Orange improved to 9-7 (6-1 Big East) and increased their longest winning streak of the season to four games.

The Orange started off the first half strong when Catherine Rodriguez scored at the 28:27 mark, but the Greyhounds responded. Caroline Hager and Abby Rehfuss both scored shortly after Rodriguez’s goal, giving the Greyhounds a 2-1 lead.
