Nassib led the balanced Orange offensive attack to a victory over No. 10 Louisville in the senior's final game at the Dome.

An offensive explosion propelled Syracuse (5-5, 3-3) past No. 11/10 Louisville (9-1, 4-1) on Senior Day in the Carrier Dome in front of 40,312 fans. Syracuse Univeristy scored on seven of 12 possessions in the 45-26 win.

Led by Brandon Triche, the SU offense was efficient in their 43-point win over Bloomsburg in their final exhibition game.

The Syracuse Orange men's basketball team doesn't need any more exhibition games. Lucky for them, they don't have any more.

The Orange annihilated the Bloomsburg Huskies 103-60 behind the stellar, aggressive play of senior Brandon Triche, who was an efficient 9-for-11 from the field and 2-for-3 behind the arc, for 23 points. Triche added seven assists and five rebounds.

Natalie Mastracci, a silver medalist in the London Olympics, looks to instill a winning culture within the SU women's rowing team

Natalie Mastracci is an Olympian. There is no denying that. The Syracuse senior has an air about her that simply exudes excellence. Her glowing smile shows how happy a person she is and her laughter and sense of humor are easily noticed. But, overall, you can feel the passion and drive Mastracci has. In her confident voice, with words backed up by emotion, you know she feels it; you know she is an Olympian.

Using a balanced offensive attack, SU nearly hit the century mark in its exhibition game against Pace.

In its first exhibition game of the season, SU put on a clinic in defeating Pace University by a score of 99-63. A combination of ball movement, stifling defense and a size advantage gave the Orange an ability to pull away early.

After 50 years NBA basketball finally returned to Syracuse. On Monday night NBA superstar and former SU basketball player, Carmelo Anthony, led the New York Knicks to the Carrier Dome to face off against the Philadelphia 76ers.

A strong running game and a stingy defense propel SU to a blowout victory over UConn.

In arguably the team’s strongest performance of the season, the Orange used a balanced offensive attack and constant defensive pressure on the opposing quarterback to blow out UConn, 40-10.

After a close first quarter, Syracuse scored 27 unanswered points and never looked back, taking firm control of the Big East affair.

Coming off a bye week, the Orange made key defensive plays to thwart a late comeback by the Panthers

Syracuse was spearheaded by a strong defensive effort including a fumble recovery turned 52-yard touchdown by sophomore Dyshawn Davis to defeat Pittsburgh 14-13 in its Big East opener.

Syracuse Orange faithful gathered hours before kickoff to grill, bounce and cheer their way to victory later in the Carrier Dome.

Fulfilling the traditions of fall weekend, thousands of Syracuse University football fans made their way Saturday to The Hill to cheer on the Orange. And sometimes what happens outside the Carrier Dome is just as exciting as what happens inside.

An announced crowd of more than 34,000 witnessed SU’s first win of the season against the Stony Brook Seawolves, following hours of music, refreshments and pre-game atmosphere that makes up  Saturdays.

USC's quarterback threw six TDs at MetLife Stadium as SU suffered second straight loss of the season.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - The last time the Syracuse Orange played in a major New York stadium, they dominated en route to their first bowl victory in nine years. However, in New York’s College Classic at MetLife Stadium on Saturday, it was the Orange that was dominated by a more potent USC offense.  Syracuse (0-2) fell to Southern California (2-0) 43-29.

Professional artist and Syracuse sports fan Michael Borkowski has applied his own original look to the school's popular mascot.

Michael Borkowski fell in love with Syracuse sports from the stands in the newly constructed Carrier Dome. The Syracuse native watched firsthand as Dick MacPherson rebuilt the football program and Jim Boeheim coached the basketball team to national prominence in the early '80s.

Only one thing confused Borkowski: the lack of an official mascot. Syracuse University hadn't yet adopted Otto the Orange, and was in the middle of a mix-and-match dark period of mascots that confused the young SU fan.
