Syracuse is now on a four-game losing streak after another away loss.

When Syracuse (4-7, 2-5 ACC) entered Papa John's Cardinal Stadium, the Orange had a slim chance to win. Rain fell almost the entire game, including a forty-three minute delay in the second quarter, but it was no contest as the Louisville Cardinals ended the game with 727 yards for the night, and Syracuse only 335. As a result, Syracuse failed to win a road game this season, and the team has failed to qualify for bowl contention for a fourth year in a row.

Cosplayers from all over will attend Syracuse's retro video game-themed convention this weekend at the Oncenter, donning elaborate themed costumes.

In a posted Instagram photo, John Bass looks like a knight in 21st century armor ready to take on a supervillain. Black and silver metal plates cover him from head to toe, a fiery red light glows from his chest, two square-shaped hand cannons are on his wrists and another appears on the suit’s shoulder ready to fire Nerf darts. The costume is based on the Marvel Comics character War Machine, who appears in the Marvel Studios films and is portrayed by actor Don Cheadle.

After 11 years of funding, Syracuse University will be pulling its support from the Westside Initiative, an organization committed to revitalizing the neighborhood

When the Near Westside Initiative was founded in 2006, Syracuse University played a large role financially and administratively. On the night of Nov. 11, the walls of the Goldstein Auditorium shook, leaking dance and electronic music into the streets of Syracuse. University Union, a Syracuse University student organization, had outdone themselves organizing the 2017 Bandersnatch Concert Series. The headliner was Mura Masa, a European artist whose music lies between the genres of electropop and nu-disco.

Syracuse needs to win both remaining games to finish .500

The Syracuse Orange lost to the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest 64-43 in a football game Saturday, despite having a final score you’d expect from a basketball contest.

Ultimately, it was a tale of two halves. The Orange closed out the first half on a 24-3 run, and held a 38-24 lead after two quarters. In the second half, two completely different teams came out to play. Wake Forest won the second half by a score of 40-5, and the Syracuse defense was demolished by the Deacon offensive unit.

Review: EDM dominated even before the popular duo took the stage.

Louis the Child was everything you'd hope for from a Westcott Theater concert. The dance floor was packed, people were dancing in small groups, Juuls were being passed around, the lights were blinding and the music was bumping.

November 10, 2017 - 9:50pm
The Orange finished shooting 51.4 percent in the second half.

Syracuse men’s basketball season got off on the right foot on Friday, as Jim Boeheim and his team grabbed a 77-45 win over Cornell University.
