Review: Fans brave winter's elements to catch the Canadian indie rockers' intimate show at Buffalo's Soundlab.

How far would you travel in one night for a band? What about 300-plus miles, more than six hours of driving and an infinite amount of snowflakes to navigate? You could repeat the band’s first album 12 times in that span, but that pace and intensity is part of the Tokyo Police Club appeal, making a road trip like that worthwhile.

Fans from all over New York experience Lady Gaga give one of her unforgettable "Monster Ball" tour performances.

A teenager casually took his seat before the Lady Gaga show, wearing a long-sleeve, button-up plaid shirt. He looked like any other high school boy.

Then he took off his shirt. Beneath the average plaid was a see-through, fishnet top covering his entire upper body. Around his waist hung circles of yellow caution tape. Underneath his nonchalant exterior was one of Lady Gaga's “little monsters” in disguise.

Review: The SU troupe's spring show features 18 dances showcasing the works of 23 different choreographers.

Syracuse University’s renowned dance organization, DanceWorks, performed its opening night of “Cirque du Cuse” Thursday in Schine Goldstein Auditorium in celebration of their 25th anniversary. Boasting more than 120 cast members, DanceWorks is easily SU’s largest club sport, giving them further inspiration to do it big for this year’s performance. “Cirque du Cuse” was inspired by the acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil - a touring theatre troupe founded by Quebec-native Gilles Ste-Crois in the 1980s.

Review: Broadway veteran and rdelighted artist delights audience members in Goldstein Auditorium.

It’s no mistake Brian Stokes Mitchell was named “The Last Leading Manby “The New York Times.”

He’s tall, dark and handsome (and yes, ladies, married with a 7-year-old son). His signature voice sets him apart from other contenders: his control makes singing appear effortless.

But what specifically makes him a leading man, and the last of his kind? Three things: the non-computerized, rich, deepness of his voice combined with the subtle light, airy, gentle high notes and his humble demeanor.
