The preliminary round of the 13th Annual Totally Fabulous Drag Show took place in front of a nearly sold out audience weeks ago and tonight's final round is looking to be even better.
After performances concluded during the the first round on February 12th, SU students E. Millz and SB were among the few given the golden ticket to advance to the final round of the annual drag show competition.
Known best for being a contestant on season six of RuPaul's Drag Race, professional drag queen Milk hosted the preliminary round, welcoming the audience with her rendition of the "Virgin Airlines Safety Video". Dressed in a classic flight attendant’s uniform, Milk added her own touch of fabulous to the show.
E. Millz and SB, who performed a show-stopping dance to Justin Bieber's "Somebody to Love" together, were among the top performances of the night. Contestants like Papi Suave and AJ, LaVon Top and others also battled against each other during the intense lip syncing competition, complete with some naughty dance moves.
After Milk announced that they would all be proceeding to the final round of the competition, the contestants were visibly excited but knew that they would have to be even more fierce to win the final round.
"We're going to bring it!" E. Millz proclaimed. "So, watch out!"
The final round of the competition will be held tonight at 10pm in Goldstein Auditorium and The NewsHouse will be there to bring you all the exciting coverage.
