Rapper Macklemore to headline the SU Dome show in November

After weeks of hinting at the official announcement of a new fall concert, University Union finally revealed Monday the artist headlining Syracuse University's Dome Show concert.

It's time to hit up the thrift shops, SU students: Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are performing at the Carrier Dome.

Opening acts are Big K.R.I.T. and Talib Kewli.

The concert, which is set for Monday, Nov. 11, starts at 7:30 p.m.

The $15 tickets go on pre-sale for full time SU/ESF students Tuesday, June 25, at 10 a.m. and $40 tickets for the general public on Friday, June 28, at 10 a.m.

Reactions on Twitter to the announcement have been mostly positive, especially under the trend #MackAtSU that UU promoted. Twitter user losaokay tweeted, "@macklemore coming to SU in November! Beyond excited to go back to school now. #MackAtSU."
