The Orange Card: Heartbreak versus Pain

Episode six of the Syracuse-centered soccer podcast.

The Orange Card returns, where this week host Tyler Dudley speaks with Erin Fish, Jared Bomba and Will Muoio about Syracuse men and women soccer, the U.S. men's national team and international soccer.

Syracuse men began their week with a convincing 2-0 win against Colgate on Sept. 25. However, they then lost to a team who hadn't won an ACC game since joining the conference in 2013.

Syracuse women only played one game, losing 7-0 to a dominant University of North Carolina. Syracuse goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan recorded 11 saves, the most saves for her this season.

U.S. Soccer released their squad for the final two World Cup Qualifying games. The team discusses one notable omission and whether they will make it to Russia.

Like every week, we discuss the biggest stories in world soccer. Finally, this week's stoppage time focuses on the relationship between soccer and geopolitics.
