Jessie Yuqing Shi

Jessie is a newspaper and online journalism senior with a minor in sociology at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. She has a variety of newsroom experience in both America and China. Over the past two years, she has obtained knowledge about media and society in the U.S., sharpened her bilingual news writing, reporting and multimedia storytelling skills from school and the real world. 

Her experience also includes multimedia assistant at Eastday.com, journalist at Internet Week New York, news editor at Mandarin Communications Group and reporting intern at Syracuse University Magazine.
