Samantha Quisgard

Samantha Quisgard is a journalist from Baltimore, Maryland. Quisgard graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2010 with a B.A. in Communications with a concentration in corporate communications. She also studied journalism at the University of Gloucestershire, England during Fall 2008.

She has previously worked as a news reporter for the Burton Mail and the Elizabethtown College Etownian. Other past experiences include serving as writer and co-art director for the Spring 2009 Elizabethtown College Communications department magazine, Jay Crew and also working with the Hershey Theater of Pennsylvania as co-coordinator of the Guilty Ones, a marketing campaign promoting the Hershey premiere of the off-Broadway musical Spring Awakening.

Quisgard is a candidate for a M.A. in Magazine, Newspaper and Online journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. She currently works as an intern in the CNY health and fitness department at The Post Standard in addition to serving as assistant editor of the Eat Smart section of Syracuse University's student health magazine, What the Health.
